In the fall of 2023, Todd Brothers Contracting was hired by Tribute Communities to complete the site grading for a large-scale residential development in Lindsay, Ontario.
This comprehensive project involved the hauling and placement of over 350,000 cubic metres of fill across a 1-kilometre off-road haul route, the export of approximately 60,000 cubic metres of topsoil, and the stockpiling of more than 150,000 cubic metres of topsoil for future use.
As part of the infrastructure improvements, Todd Brothers constructed new turning lanes along the MTO-owned Highway 35. This component of the project included traffic control, cut and fill operations, erosion control measures, and final landscaping to ensure safety and compliance with provincial standards.
Additional work included the construction of a temporary river crossing, extensive erosion and sediment control implementation—including the development of multiple stormwater management ponds—and full site clearing and grubbing.
This project highlights Todd Brothers’ expertise in large-scale site development, environmental stewardship, and heavy civil construction.
